Chairman of the Laconia Hotel Association – Mr. Dimitris Pollalis
On Wednesday March 3rd, 2010, and after the General Meeting, the Laconia Hotel Association carried out the elections, as expected, for the new Board of Directors, the Audit Committee, and Representatives of the Secondary Labor Union.
As stated in the memorandum (clause 9, paragraph 1), and as invited by Mr. Dimitris Pollalis, (the most voted), the newly appointed directors came to the offices of the Association in Sparta, on Wednesday, March 10th, 2010, in order to meet.
After the secret voting took place, the new Board of Directors of the Laconia Hotel Organization, for the next three years, is as follows:
Chairman: Pollalis Dimitris
Vice-chairman: Goudis Vasilios
General-Secretary: Klapsis Kyriakos
Curator: Kourounakos Ilias
Cashier: Kokkoros Georgios
Deputy Secretary: Petropoulakis Dimitrios
Deputy Cashier: Petroulas Michail
It’s worth noting that the new Board of Directors of the Laconia Hotel Association consists mainly of new members.
The new Board of Directors in its first meeting decided unanimously the unison of all the hotel organizations of Laconia as well as the Argolida-Argos area.
Upon the joining of the two Associations, the start of a social fellowship travel institution for the Peloponnesian visitors was announced. Mr. Dimitris Pollalis and Mr. Petros Koutsopoulos, chairmen of the Laconia and Argos hotel organizations respectively, stressed that the institution is aimed towards fellow countrymen who belong to sensitive social groups, such as, the handicapped, low-income bracket citizens, etc., to whom boarding will be offered free of charge in order for them to have the opportunity to get to know the Peloponnese from a traveler’s point of view.
One of the objectives of the institution is the promotion of the idea of “domestic tourism” and to make the Peloponnese known as a travel destination thru mutual support initiatives.
In a place that in no way lacks in comparison to other destinations, on the contrary, it offers an abundance in natural beauty, uniqueness, variety of activities, tradition, comfort, authentic and local features, the Hotel Association s propose that we discover the unknown beauty of the area.
